First Troop Meeting Assignments

Before the Next Meeting on Monday April 26th, Please complete the first part of the physical fitness test. At least every other day practice the events so that you can show improvement in 30 days. In the Scout Manual, it gives tips on how to acheive the pull up-

Record
1/4 mile walk or run
Push ups (correct form is in the book)
Pull ups (not the huggies kind)
Sit ups
Standing Long jump.

Also a Big Thanks to Mr. Knight (aka Big Eric) for teaching us how to whip and fuse the rope and the two knots required for tenderfoot- taut line hitch and two half hitches. Continue practicing these skills and let Mr. Eric know when you are ready to be tested. The best way to be ready is practice and then teach somebody else how to do it.

Our Next meeting will be with Mr. John Bollom, JT's Uncle. He's going to go over the First Aid requirements for Tender foot which are choking, simple cuts and scrapes,blisters on the hand and foot,minor burns or scalds (superficial or first degree), bites or stings of insects and ticks, venomous snakebites,nosebleed, and frostbite or sunburn.
Don't forget to write down your good turns in your notebook!
