Troop Meeting June 28, 2010

A troop meeting has been set for June 28, 2010 at 6:30 PM.
Place is at the Knights residents.
The boys will go over subjects required for their Tenderfoot Badge.
Including requrenents 4a, 4b, 4c, 7, 8, 10a & 10b. It is imparitive that they complete all requiremnets to recieve their Tenderfoot Badge. A board of review will be set for all the scouts at one time. So if there are any scouts fallen behind let us know ASAP.

Troop 1411 to attend Crosby School Board Meeting

On Monday June 21, 2010
Troop 1411 will attend a Crosby school board meeting as part of their requirement
for Citizen of the Community. This will be their first school board meeting.

Congratulation Eric Jr.

On June 14, 2010 at 3:00 PM. Eric finished and completed his Dentistry Merit badge.
His first of many. His checkup at the Dentist was good too. No cavities. He has developed only one wisdom tooth on the lower left. Dr. Nored stated he will not develope the other on the lower right. Eric Jr is evolving. Congrats! Eric Jr.

Twilight Camp 2010

Wow! What a week we had. I can truly say that was unforgettable. Kareena you really did your best under the conditions we had. Three leaders to 32 scouts. I believe Eric Sr was the only one that had it together. I personally was overwhelmed by the whole situation. But i did it and I learned a lot from it. My first at being a Merit Badge Counselor. We didn't have a lot of support from the other troops parents , but only 2 parents that were there specifically for their son. Overall a good experience. Our boys worked on their Dentistry, Fingerprinting, Weather, Citizen of the Community and Nation Merit Badges. I hope they enjoyed it. LOL. The other boys on the last day were bored and didn't really participate in our last session, but thats okay because some did and they will get credit for it. I can't wait till next year. Not Really, just kidding! Have a great Summer!
